World Book Day has become a wonderful way to get children to enagage with books. So much so, that many schools are making a bigger event of it, over several days. And that's good news for the likes of me.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were packed with workshops and readings at four different locations. I has sharing cartooning tips, drawing wacky monsters, and reading from my children's books. And I got to sell a few copies, too.
This coming week is a little quieter for being out and about, with just one talk to sixth form students. But that's just as well, all this being away from the studio means I've got plenty of drawing to catch up on.
I've you'd be interested in booking a talk or a drawing workshop, please do get in touch.
