After the drought that was the past two Covid years, I've been busy with bookings for talks and workshops these last couple of months, and with plenty more to come.
Last week I was at the Beaulieu Craft Group teaching cartoon illustration to 20+ retired ladies which was great fun. Then, yesterday, I gave a talk to a packed room at the Hythe U3a about how I got involved with children's books, and the titles I've produced. Have just received this note from the organiser:
"What a fantastic presentation and no notes!! Thank you so much Simon it was excellent. Everyone really enjoyed it."
Book sales after the talk kept me busy for a further half an hour, to the point that by the time I was packing up the caretaker was practically sweeping the floor.
If you run a group and are looking for a speaker (preferably within the New Forest or southern Hampshire area) then do get in touch.
