It was a busy week for school visits last week. Tuesday saw me at Orchard Infant School for their Orchard's Got Talent initiative. This involved creating lots of fun drawings with Year 1 who were then left to have a go themselves.
Then, on Friday, I spent the day at Moyles Court, near Ringwood. A very full day of drawing workshops, as well as reading stories to the younger year groups. The school caters for children from 3 to 16, so it was quite intense, jumping from different styles of workshop and adjusting the tone for ability and age. Thankfully, it all seemed to go down incredibly well, with lots of interest at the after-school book stall where children and parents could get signed copies of my books. Possibly the busiest day I've ever done at a school, but well worth it. I certainly slept well that night!
