The only way my daughter seems to be able to see me at the moment is to come and help paint, so she came in this afternoon to help with some second-coating while I tried to finally finish the legs. The legs are by far the hardest part, requiring you to constantly change position and angle to follow the three-dimensional surface, and even though I'm fortunate enough to have borrowed some stools to lift it up a bit, it's still awkward, and swiftly tires your arm, twists your back and deadens your legs. So even after just over three hours I still hadn't finished the last hind leg, so will just have to come at it fresh tomorrow. Then I should at least be on the home straight!
