I was wonderfully looked after last night at the Ashurt WI where I was giving a talk on my children's books. It's a well attended group so I was grateful to get the opportunity to share how I got involved in children's books and the different projects it's got me involved with. It was a lot to pack in with just half an hour, but backed up by Powerpoint slides and a table of some of the books I was able to get across much of the broadstrokes and fill in any gaps during the questions at the end. Also, very pleased to say that the book sales afterwards did very well indeed.
If you'd like me to come and talk to your group, be it a WI, U3A, Rotary or any similar organisation, then I'd be keen to hear from you. You can get in touch with me here.
