I've created a few of these for Carbon 2018 now, and they're rather good fun to make. Carbon 2018 come up with the basic scenario, so in this case that for the average person energy management is something they swiftly got lost within, and the rest is up to me. The first step is the writing, which although challenging in that it has to refer to two things at once is immensely satisfying once it starts to flow. I write directly onto a twelve panel grid, and will add in thumbnail doodles of potential imagery, then when I think it's working it gets submitted for approval before I set down to draw it up properly.
