I've had great fun drawing a huge range of everyday objects, vehicles, places and creatures for a set of cartoon flash cards that will be used for a research project conducted by the University of Wollongong near Sydney, Australia.

The cartoons needed to be clean, colourful, and recognisable to a small child, so no obscure angles or complicated detail, plus they needed to be friendly and engaging to hold the child's attention. I'm looking forward to learning how the children respond to them.
