The last twelve months have hit many firms both directly and indirectly. In the tourism sector that has meant closure during lockdowns, causing a lot of financial hardship for the businesses. One of Ceratopia's clients is Longdown Activity Farm, and they've been knocked particularly hard because of the large overheads of looking after their animals, regardless of whether they're open or not. Eventually, Government help, and a generous crowdfunding campaign, saw them through the worst of it, and now as they look towards opening again once more there's been a little free time for some creative thinking.
Owner Bryan Pass, affectionately known as Farmer Bryan, played with a few Facebook videos shot on his phone during the first lockdown as a way of keeping young farm fans connected to the farm. That's inspired a more serious effort now, with professionally shot videos about the animals, packaged up as Longdown Little Farmers Club. For just £10 a household gets access to all the videos, plus a selection of educational fact sheets to accompany each one. There are a few other goodies mixed in too, so for £10 it's an absolute bargain, especially if your little ones love farms.
It was Ceratopia's job to create the logo, associated graphics, and the all-important fun sheets. Drawing on our experience of creating white label children's activity packs we've currently created 21 fun sheets. These reinforce the messages in the videos and help build children's knowledge of farm life and the animals through the games, colouring, activities and facts. It's a fun way to learn. And did I say it was a bargain?
More content is being added to the club's website each month, so it will always warrant a re-visit. You can find out more by visiting https://longdownfarm.co.uk/product/longdown-little-farmers-club/
