Our Terms & Conditions apply to all Ceratopia Books sales and they do not affect your statutory rights. We comply with the UK Government's "Distance Selling Rules".
Information About Ceratopia Books
The name Ceratopia Books is our brand. It exists to sell and promote the children's books published by Ceratopia Books and Simon Chadwick. Any books sold will be handled by Ceratopia Ltd which is managed by Simon Chadwick (2 Solent Road, Dibden Purlieu, Southampton, SO45 4QG). We do not accept callers or visitors at this address and our main method of communication is via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by phone 023 8178 7052.

We endeavour to ensure the accuracy of the data on our web site however it is possible errors may occur. We make every effort to rectify any errors as soon as possible but we cannot be held responsible and accept no responsibility or liabilities for incorrect data. Any material downloaded or obtained from our website is done so entirely at your own risk.
Product Descriptions, Photos & Specifications
The copyright of all of the images and descriptions on www.ceratopia.co.uk belong to Simon Chadwick, or where applicable the other authors working with Simon; it is therefore illegal to copy or use them elsewhere for profit.
Pricing information including packaging and postage (P&P) are available on the website for each item for sale. All item prices are exclusive of P&P and include any applicable taxes. The P&P charge for each item is clearly indicated and is added on to the item price when the items is ordered. The P&P charges are applied to each and every item separately.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time and we are entitled to refuse or cancel any order placed by any customer.
We use third party organisations to collect payments using their secure online processes. We do not handle or manage personal or credit card information directly ourselves.
Our aim is to post all items within 2-3 days of ordering and confirmation of funds. We use Royal Mail delivery services or a trusted UK courier depending on the location and size of box.
In the unlikely event of an item being delivered damaged, please let us know within 48 hours using the email address provided: email@example.com
Delivery and postage prices quoted are for UK mainland delivery only. We are always happy to quote for posting to The Channel islands or overseas, please just email us for a quote.
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
We are confident that our customers will be delighted with their purchases. If goods are accidentally damaged during delivery, our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, refund, exchange or replacement of the goods or to the value of the original sales price.
We do not refund items which have been damaged by yourself during unpacking.
To enable an exchange or refund to take place for an item damaged during delivery, the customer is responsible for informing us at Ceratopia Books, by email, of the item damaged within 48 hours of delivery. The customer is responsible for sending the item back to us at Ceratopia Books and the customer will pay for that postage. On receipt of the damaged item, if necessary and if an exchange is agreed, we will pay postage on the return item.
Since we deliver books very soon after order receipt and confirmation of funds, it is difficult to handle cancellations. Cancellations are accepted before item delivery or before a maximum of 7 working days after order receipt. In this case the order value will be refunded. Cancellation refunds will be payable if the ordered goods are received back by Ceratopia Books in the original order condition.
