The Won'tlings, from the Land Of Won't, are each notorious for not doing a certain thing. Only through the wise leadership of their young ruler, King Will, and his ever-resourceful teddy, Red Ted, can the Won'tlings face up to their fears, responsibilities, or just plain irrational behaviour, and learn that there's no such thing as can't or, indeed, won't.
In The Story Of The Speakling, King Will and Red Ted find a part of the castle they've never been in before, and within it a dusty but well-stocked library. But that's not all. There is also a Won'tling in there amongst all those printed words, but this Won'tling won't speak.
All the Won'tling stories are based upon a poem by poet Ralph Bailey.
